Information You Submit to Us
When you request information from us through this website, or if you use those features of the site that allow you to communicate with us by electronic mail or otherwise, we will need some of your personal information to respond to your request. If, therefore, you choose to use these features, you will need to provide us with certain personal information necessary in order for us to communicate with you. Note that you are under no obligation to provide us with this information, but without it, we will not be able to take the action requested.
For example, we will need your personal information in order to send you firm newsletters, advisories, or notices of our seminars or other events (“Materials”). For this purpose, we collect such information as your name, address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address. We collect this information only to accommodate your requests.
In requesting your personal information in order to fulfill your request to receive our Materials in electronic format, we require that you click on an “I agree” button at the relevant part of the site to communicate your consent to the use of your personal information to accommodate your request. You will be given an opportunity to unsubscribe from receipt of our Materials in electronic format on each occasion that we contact you by email.
Note that some Material is distributed by ordinary post, and, from time to time, we may also send to you by post Materials that may interest you. If you do not wish to receive Materials by ordinary post, please let us know.
If you are a client, there are certain areas of our site reserved for your exclusive use. In order to access these areas, you will need to register. You will be asked to create an account, which will require that you input some personal information including your name, address, telephone number, email address, and month/day of birth. Upon registration, we will submit to you a unique password and username that will enable you to log in to these relevant [reserved] aspects of the site. We will provide you with the means to ensure your personal information is correct and to select which personal data is visible to other authorized users of the site. We will use your information together with other information for the following purposes to:
- authenticate you when you attempt to access the client network site;
- maintain current information that allows us to effectively administer client services and programs;
- ensure the client network site is relevant to the needs of our clients, and to aid us in publishing content that is most relevant to you and other clients; and
- communicate directly to you the information, notifications, or newsletters you request from the client network site.
You may request at any time that we correct or delete your personal information in our database. To request such correction or deletion, please contact us.
